Moreeni hat is worked from the top down in two-color brioche. The hat is reversible. The hat was designed for adults and it is easily modified to fit a child’s head - or then the kid just starts wearing mom’s hat…

To fit a head with circumference:
Small: 54 cm/21 in
Medium: 58 cm/23 in
L/XL: 62 cm/24.5 in

Height of finished hat:
Small: 21 cm/8.3 in
Medium: 21.5 cm/8.5 in
L/XL: 22 cm/8.7 in

Yarn:
DK weight, from 180 m/197 yd to 300 m/328 yd per 100 g

Yardage:
Color A is turquoise and color B is brown in the model hat.
Small (54 cm/21 in):
Color A 50 m/55 yd or 28 g, color B 55 m/60 yd or 31 g.
Medium (58 cm/23 in):
Color A 55 m/60 yd or 31 g, color B 60 m/66 yd or 34 g.
L/XL (62 cm/24.5 in):
Color A 62 m/68 yd or 35 g, color B 67 m/73 yd or 38 g.

Needle size:
4 mm/US 6, or the size you need to make gauge.
6 mm/US 10 for the bind-off.

Gauge:
20 sts and 24 rows per 10 cm in two-color brioche without blocking.
