ABOUT
The Year-Round Popover is the three-season wardrobe staple you want to wear all the time! It is a top-down circular yoke sweater with quarter sleeves featuring a deep ribbing dotted subtly with eyelets at the neck and hemlines. I chose to work with Purl Soho Campo yarn, which is a 50/50 blend of organic cotton and wool, making this a soft and cozy wear for colder weather, but also not too heavy to wear on a warm day.

CONSTRUCTION
Beginning with a provisional cast-on, you’ll start at the neckline, working in the round and increase incrementally using backward loops to form the yoke. You will then separate the sleeves and body and work each separately in the round. Once the length of the body and each sleeve are reached and bound off, you’ll undo the provisional cast-on and pick up each stitch. A round of eyelets followed by a wide ribbed collar will finish off your piece.

GAUGE/SIZING
#sizeinclusive
14 stitches X 19 rows per 4”/10 cm square (stockinette). Written for sizes XS (S, M, L, 1X) [2X, 3X, 4X, 5X] to fit bust circumferences 32 (36, 40, 44, 48) [52, 56, 60, 64]" / 81.25 (91.5, 101.5, 111.75, 122) [132, 142.25, 152.5, 162.5] cm

I created this popover with comfort and ease in mind. For a looser fit, go with the size that is about 4”/10 cm larger than your actual bust measurement. For reference, the sample I’m pictured wearing is a size Large and I have a 40”/10 cm bust circumference. The length is meant to be slightly cropped. Length can be added by working more stockinette rows in the body section.
