My Feelings Are Ok
🌿 Children’s Mental Health Week 🌿
This week is incredibly close to our hearts here at Where the Wild Ones Learn.
Supporting children to understand, name, and safely express their feelings is one of the most important parts of early childhood — and something we are deeply passionate about.
To honour this week, we’ve created a FREE “My Feelings Are OK” booklet for children.
It’s gentle, playful, and designed to help little ones explore their emotions in a way that feels safe, supported, and empowering.
Inside you’ll find:
✨ Naming and recognising different feelings
✨ “Little feelings before the big feelings” pages
✨ What makes me happy / sad / angry / calm
✨ An emotions wordsearch
✨ Breathing activities for little bodies
✨ “How I am feeling” drawing prompts
✨ An emotions wheel
✨ Strategies that help with big feelings
✨ Calming ideas children can choose themselves
It’s completely free to download and use at home or in your setting.
Because every child deserves to know that their feelings are valid, welcome, and absolutely OK.
If you’d like the booklet, just pop a comment below or send us a message and we’ll send it straight over.
Let’s raise emotionally resilient, self-aware, beautifully expressive little humans — together 💛🌿
