Inari Socks

Inari is a small village in Lapland in the north of Finland. It is one of the places in the northern hemisphere where You can observe the marvelous and breathtaking phenomenon - Aurora Borealis.
The Inari socks are knitted from toe-up, seamlessly in the round, with fleegle heel.
The pattern includes both, written and charted instructions.

SIZES

The socks were designed to be worn with at least 2.5 cm / 1 “ of negative ease in width.

YARN
1 skein of Woollala Sock Merino ( 75% Wool - Merino, 25% Nylon / Polyamide; 420m / 459y per 100g ) or about { 260, 280, 300, 320 } m / { 290, 305, 330, 350 } y of any other fingering weight yarn.

Note that the yardage is estimated and depends on sock length.

NEEDLES
2.25 mm ( US #1 ) circular needles for magic loop or DPNS, or size needed to get the right gauge.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
stitch markers, 2 cable needles, row counter, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

GAUGE
34 sts and 48 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in Stockinette Stitch pattern worked in the round with 2.25 mm ( US #1 ) needles, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
