We will start by showing Richard Feather Anderson's lecture on Labyrinth as a Spiritual tool, on Substack Live! from 10-11:55. This is optional but a wonderful in depth explanation of the chakra correlation, energy systems and more.
At noon we will have introductions, then go through how to use the finger labyrinth (a short video 15 min), set intention and have an opening blessing. We will then engage, focusing on our intention of peace to ourselves and the world through compassion.
At 12:30, we will lead the HeartSoak Meditation from HeartMath that we're combining with an Engaged Compassion Meditation from Frank Rogers, Jr., founder of the Center for Engaged Compassion. We will then move silently into walking the finger labyrinth with a music selection that invites you to engage in creative writing response, moodling, sketching, etc. after listening to a piece of music. We will continue to play the music additional times during the creative response time during the finger labyrinth walk. You may continue then entire time, using the finger labyrinth, stop any time and engage in writing, moodling or sketching as a creative response, etc or sit silently and just be a witness to the event.
Finally we will invite Substack watchers to respond in chat and share their images, writing and prayers for peace. We will conclude with a ending blessing.
This is a free event. To register to get the downloadable finger labyrinth, the videos we will show at the pre-event and then how to use the finger labyrinth video, as well as the HeartSoak process and all the resources, register for the event here.
You do not need to register to watch and participate. Direct links to the event are included when you register as well as downloads.
