Living the Christian Life

I want God to guide me but how will He? Isn’t it OK to read my star signs? How can the Bible help with my anger? Why is my family so against me being a Christian? Is it sometimes alright not to forgive?

The Bible is full of very practical wisdom on how to live as a Jesus-follower in our society today. Living the Christian Life will help you tap into this wisdom with chapters as diverse as coping with stress, living a sexually pure life and honouring the government. It’s the second in the Spiritual Growth series of four books, great for self-study or for groups and other training.

About the author: Dr Gladwyn Turner is founding pastor of Southside Christian Fellowship (Sydney, Australia) and founder and director of the Australian & Asian Missions Association. Gladwyn and Helen are missional pastors who love the body of Christ and love passing on what they have learned in forty-plus years of ministry. They have a passion to see the church renewed and empowered with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Their ministry has reached throughout Asia with crusades, teaching pastors, seminary students and churches. The Spiritual Growth series was written as a response to the burden to see people trained for the work of ministry. The books have been translated into a number of languages and are widely used in church planter training. The four titles are: Foundations for Christian Life (Part 1), Living the Christian Life (Part 2), Giftings for the Christian Life (Part 3), Spiritual Warfare in the Christian Life (Part 4).

Other resources by Gladwyn & Helen Turner include ‘Shaping Your Future’, ‘Possessing Your Destiny’, ‘Leading a short-term missions team?’, ‘The Scarlet Thread of Redemption’, ‘40+ stories’ (a collection of generational testimonies), a range of Jesus-focused worship CDs, including the compilation CD ‘One generation’.
