The Stowaways and other Sea Sketches

This is an expanded version of John Donald's stories of Greenock Stowaways, including the story of 7 local boys abandoned on the Newfoundland ice in 1868. It has been newly illustrated with relevant images and two new chapters have been added: one telling the story of the Mallon family and their connection with the local tugs, as well as the transcript of the newspaper reports of the court case against the Captain and First Mate of the ship "Arran" in 1868.
