Philips PUS7xx5 4K UHD TV picture settings - HDR (2020)

This product contains one document that will help you get a better HDR picture and understand picture controls on Philips PUS7xx5 series LED LCD TVs. Calibration was performed on the 55-inch 55PUS7805 TV, but tips apply to all variants and screen sizes.

The document covers:

1. HDR picture settings that can be used for watching movies, TV shows and other content in Ultra HD 4K resolution with HDR (HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision) and
2. HDR picture settings for gaming in HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision

Calibration was done for HDMI limited range 4:2:2 YPrPb (component) 2160p24 signal, BT.2020 color space, SMPTE  ST.2084 EOTF, HDR10 and white point target D65. In addition, Dolby Vision calibration was also performed and recommended settings are in this document as well.

Disclaimer:

Settings are for reference only. There is no guarantee that they will give you the best picture which is in line with industry standards and suitable for your viewing environment (especially white balance, gamma, and color management system settings that vary from unit to unit). If you want a guaranteed calibrated picture, hire a professional TV calibrator (for example with ISF certificate, more info at http://www.imagingscience.com).
