If you want an afternoon that feels like an adventure, the kind your kids actually want to keep doing again and again, but you don't want to spend a whole day researching and planning then this is for you.

I married into a Colombian family. My husband grew up with this food, these songs, and these stories, and now our two girls are growing up bilingual between both cultures. Everything in this pack comes from that. Not from Google.

In one day, your family will:

• Cook arepas from scratch, the way Colombian families eat them for breakfast
• Hear the legend of El Dorado, the golden king and his sacred lake
• Make a maraca and shake it to a real cumbia
• Play Yermis, the street game Colombian kids actually play
• Fill in a My Country Report to keep, with the flag, the map, and their favorite new Spanish word

Most of it uses what you already have at home. We did this with kids aged 5 to 9 and they all loved it.

You can do it in one day or spread it across the week. Either way, by the end your kids will feel like they have been to Colombia. Even though you never left your home.
