The Oh My Figure design came to life as I wanted to feel confident enough in my own body to wear a fitted dress. I created the details to enhance the female figure and give the illusion of an hourglass shape that would work for any body type. The dress has given me self-confidence in more ways than I imagined, and I want to share that with others through this pattern, which is made to fit your own body.
Oh My Figure is worked in the round from the top down in 2x2 rib (k2, p2) with raglan increases on the yoke. The principle of raglan increases and decreases continues to shape the fitted garment, enhancing the feminine curves. This pattern includes instructions for a long dress, short dress, skirt, sweater, and tee. Tubular cast on and bind off
Right and left leaning increases and decreases
Knitting by charts
Short rows (only for short sleeves)
What you will need:
Suggested needles: circular needles size 3,5mm 40cm, 60cm, 80cm (double-pointed needles 3,5mm)
1 beginning of round marker and 8 stitch markers in two colours, 4 in each colour.
Materials:
1 strand of Go Handmade Tencel Bamboo Double held with 1 strand of Drops Kid Silk
or
1 strand of Go Handmade Tencel Bamboo Fine held with 1 strand of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk
