The White Star afghan/blanket features an original graphic mosaic pattern. The blanket, the Mill Star cushion cover and the Ivory Star cushion cover make a great design feature for your house. Malabrigo Yarn Rios used for the sample is a 100% merino yarn which grows when blocking. Using different fibres might affect the size of the blanket.

The blanket and cushion covers are knitted in blocks, in mosaic garter stitch. Mosaic knitting is an easy way to create striking colourwork. Mosaic knitting is perfect for beginners who are attempting colourwork for the first time. Just knit and slip stitches, one colour at time. There are ZERO purl stitches needed. Directions are given how to work mosaic from the chart. The pattern is fully charted.

This pattern is for the White Start blanket only.
