The Conkers Quilt

This quilt uses a mixture of
foundation paper piecing,
curved piecing and half-square
triangles to achieve a striking
effect. The finished size is:

64” x 64” / 1.65m x 1.65m

To make this quilt you will need:

A mixture of low-volume or neutral 

fabrics for background:                        

3 yards / 2¾ metres in total

A mixture of purple/magenta fabrics:  

1⅔ yards / 1½ metres in total

A mixture of green fabrics:                  

37” / 1 metre in total

A mixture of pink fabrics:                      

½ yard / ½ metre in total

Binding fabric:                                      

½ yard / ½ metre

Backing fabric:                                    

3¾ yards / 3½ metres

Wadding:                                            

69” x 69” / 1¾ metres square
