Whispering Angel

Tony Fodin is a British singer-songwriter whose music is forged from a life less ordinary. Born in 1960 in a Northern mining town, he left school at 15 to work in factories and coal mines—but always carried music in his bones. Raised on Motown, folk, and classic rock, Tony’s songs channel decades of grit, heartbreak, and defiance.
After Thatcher-era policies pushed him to seek a new life in Europe, Tony found his voice on the streets and bars of Valencia, Paris, Brussels, and London. Picking up the guitar at 37, he transformed poetry into rock anthems, each one grounded in truth, freedom, and lived experience.
Now battling cancer and facing the fallout of Brexit, Tony remains unshaken—his debut album is a bold statement of survival and expression. With tracks like “Whispering Angel”, “Born in the Wrong Skin”, and “The Young and the Lost”, he blends poetic lyrics with raw rock energy. Think Leonard Cohen meets Bowie in a pub with something urgent to say.
Tony Fodin proves that no matter the struggle, music endures—and stories like his deserve to be heard.
