RIBBED TOQUE

One size, to fit adult head size 51-61 cm / 20-24" with a generous negative ease. The rib pattern will easily stretch to twice the width. Crown shaping does not have a noticeable spiral, but instead rib pattern is reduced until last decrease rounds. Long brim can be rolled twice for a fitted crown, once or not at all for a slouchy fit.

Needle size: US 1½ - 2.5 mm, US 4 - 3.5 mm

Yardage: approx 153 - 306 yards (140 - 280 m)

This is an easy knit, suitable for experienced beginners. This one size set will fit a medium adult and is worked in fingering or sock yarn. Each piece is perfect for using up your left over yarn from shawls and socks!

You will need 35 grams for the beret and just a little less than 35 grams for the handwarmers. Or about 70 grams / 2 1/2 oz for the set. These are both worked totally in the round, no picking up sts. You can use magic loop technique for most of it. Double point needles are recommended only for the very top of the beret, going into the point.

Crochet Mesh Cowl is an easy beginner project that you can hone your skills on, or whip up quick, if you already have crochet experience. GREAT TO USE LEFTOVERS !
