Gladiatrix - Mid calf braded sock knitting pattern

Socks inspired by Brona Croft from Penny Dreadful played by Billie Piper, when she sits in the bordello bar with Mr Chandler, I’d imagine she would have worn something like this!

These are the sister socks of my Antarctica Socks that were inspired by another knee high sandal and a movie ♥

circular needle for Magic Loop

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight 
Sample, as shown in photos uses for size 39 EU

Sheepy Time Yarns: Panda Feet
Fingering weight,
Yarn Content: 60 % wool, 30 % Bamboo,
10 % Nylon
350 m / 434 y per 113 g / 4 ounces

Gauge

31 sts / 36 rows = 10 cm / 4 inch in stockinette st, worked in round.
1 foot cable pattern repeat
33 sts = 9 cm / 3.5 inch
14 rows = 5 cm / 2 inch

Foot circumference: 20.5 cm / 8 inch
