The DOMUS project is the 1:50 scale construction of an imaginary 14th century palace built with real contruction materials such as concrete, brick, stone, etc, and described by the author on its own blog.
This ebook collects the entries dedicated to the construction of the ground floor, fully revised and translated to english. It shows the assembly of walls, arches, vaults and other elements with step-by-step pictures and considerations about the techniques put into practice by the builder and even the mistakes he made.
It can be a useful tool for model makers (dollhouses, nativity scenes, dioramas, wargames, etc.) who want to approach a different way of understanding architectural modeling.
