Chalk Pastel Art Lessons
These Chalk Pastel Art Lessons teach students the basics of using chalk pastels. Students research the history of chalk pastels and the medium itself, draw on prior knowledge, learn terminology, and watch a PowerPoint presentation with examples.
They practice value scales, tints, tones and shades and a color wheel in chalk pastel, and then research, plan and create their own chalk pastel art piece.
