A marine layer is an air mass that forms over the surface of a large body of water which often creates fog within itself. This collection of quick to knit matching accessories is inspired by this weather pattern.

Finished Measurements:

Mitts - approximately 5 (6.25, 7.5) inches / 12.5 (15.5, 18.5) cm finished circumference around hand (stretches to fit much larger sizes - my husband could just wear the the adult medium and normally wears a medium to large men’s sized glove)

Cowl - 5.5 inches (13.75 cm) X 27 inches (67.5 cm); about 17 inches (42.5 cm) in circumference when buttoned

Scarf - 5.5 inches (13.75 cm) X 42 inches (105 cm)

Skills Required: Knitting in the round, increasing and decreasing, knitting through the back loop of the stitch.

Gauge: 26 stitches and 40 rounds = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on smaller needles
