English

The story of the Pesante surname: a medieval nickname and the theory about its meaning, a name that points to a person and not to a town, how parish priests fixed the name on paper, the scattered clusters between Apulia and Liguria and the faraway countries they reached, and an honest page about the coat of arms.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
