On December 3rd, 1941 several C47s from Squadron 332 began a four day training´
in the large base of the Panama Canal Zone. These pilots would take a fast course in
Jungle Flying taking off in bad weather, landing in short airfields, dropping cargo,
delivering jeeps and cannons to far off villages. War was near and Cargo Squadrons
had to be ready to be transfered to any place in the world. Pilots flew many hours in those
four days and learned a lot in that short time, the coming war would not be far off.
