This workbook has both Chinese and English explanations and is suitable for English school students. The new words in the booklet are based on the syllabus of the Singapore MOE Chinese Primary textbook. Every lesson includes Writing Practice, Glossary, Pinyin & Translation Exercise, Sentence Making and Fill in Blank exercise. In addition to writing practice, students can learn the meaning of vocabulary words using the glossary provided in the booklet, which has English translations and example sentences to teach students how to use the vocabulary words. After revision, students can test their knowledge of the vocabulary themselves by trying to make sentences, fill in pinyin, translate from Chinese to English and choose words to fill in. In this way, they will remember well the meaning and the pronunciation of the words. The answers are in the glossary. It is recommended to make a sentence for every new word or phrase after writing practice to help effectiveness in learning the language.
