Find My Way Back: A McNeal Love Story

Zoe Theresa McNeal is the most withdrawn of all the sisters. Zoe is the Vice-President of Distribution, which puts her in charge of all the ways in which the linens get to the customers. This includes all trucks and drivers, a particular sore spot for Zoe. She fell in love with one of the company’s drivers and planned a life with him. They were due to be married but a family tragedy sent him away- and he never returned. Zoe was hurt at first, but then angry and finally, bitter. She’s been introverted ever since, a workaholic who refuses to risk her heart again.

Tarik Logan is a former truck driver for the McNeal Corporation. He loved Zoe McNeal with all his heart and wanted a future with her. The death of his mother sent him away to handle his family affairs. He’d always thought he would return, but seeing his father’s devastation made him nervous about love- and afraid of losing that love. So he dropped out of Zoe’s life, hoping that closing himself off from love would prevent a devastating loss like the one his father suffered when his mother died. Three years later, he still loves Zoe just as much and realizes his mistake in letting her go. To prove himself, he has come back, bringing his small trucking company to merge with the McNeal Corporation. Zoe is wary of his motives, and still hurt by his abandonment, so she refuses to even give him a chance. But ignoring Tarik’s advances, as well as her own heart, is going to be harder than she thought.
