Named after Danzig (or Gdańsk in Polish) - one of my absolutely favorite cities, which is where I CO for this shawl :-) (if you ever visit Poland put it on your must-see list!)

Size
one size: approx. 200cm/80” wide along top edge and 75 cm/30” high.

Yarn
3 skeins of Malabrigo Yarn Mechita (100% merino; 384m/420y per 100g). Sample shown in colorways: MC 036 Pearl (2 skeins) and CC 886 Diana (1 skein).
or
about 750y of fingering weight for MC and 250y of fingering weight for CC.

Needles
3.75mm/US #5 circular needle (60cm/24” long).

Other
tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.

Gauge
24 sts and 30 rows = 10cm/4” in Garter st worked flat.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
