Stopping a fun activity, waiting, or a sudden change of plan can be hard for many children. These printable visuals give a clear, calm warning before a change, so your child can see what is coming next. Made for autistic kids, kids with ADHD, toddlers and any child who finds transitions hard.

WHAT YOU GET (6 PAGES)

• Countdown Strips: 3 strips (5 more turns, 5 more minutes, count down with me) with an "All done" box
• Countdown Numbers: 30 round numbers to cut out and take off one at a time
• How Much Time Is Left?: 6 clock faces where the colored part shows the minutes left (30, 15, 10, 5, 2 and 1 minute)

HOW TO USE

1. Show a warning card or take one number off the strip before the change.

2. Use the same calm words each time, for example "5 more minutes, then tidy up".

3. Practise the Change of Plan and waiting boards at a calm time first.

4. Praise your child for moving on to the next thing.
