THE GHOST BLIMP A Novel

A psychological and speculative sci-fi narrative, kind of, centered on the 1942 disappearance of Navy blimp L-8 and an ancient sentient deep-sea entity somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. The entity works like a cosmic archive, it absorbs human consciousness to keep track, and also to properly frame what happens on the surface. Decades later a researcher named Mara stumbles onto her father’s lifelong fixation with the anomaly, and it turns out there was a covert government history behind it (Project Chimera) not just some private madness. Then she discovers she herself is sort of destined to join an expanding network of eternal watchers… yes , “watchers” really, because the role never seems to end.
