This shawl is worked from the top down, starting at the center with increases at both edges and the center line to create the triangle shape. The pattern is easy to remember and easy to knit but will entertain you throughout the project and make sure it never gets boring. With one color at a time, just slip stitches and create the magic dots.
It is perfect to use up smaller quantities or even leftovers in fingering weight. You may work in 3 colors (as shown) or one main color, changing the color of the dots - or change main color after each pattern section… Just what your stash gives you.

Materials:
fingering weight yarn (200m/220yds per 50g)
Best in a soft material with good stitch definition and a good drape
Main color 1: 50g / 200 meters / 220 yards
Main color 2: 40g / 170 meters/ 190 yards
Contrasting color: 30-40 meters / 35-45 yards
I suggest the 2 main colors in a similar color shade and the contrasting color with a high contrast.
The sample was knit in 75%Merino+25%Silk 200m/220yds per 50g

Differences in gauge and yarn choice will affect the size of the finished shawl and the amount of yarn.

Der Schal wird von der Mitte aus mit Zunahmen an der Mittellinie und beiden Seiten gearbeitet. Das Muster ist einfach zu merken und zu stricken – nur Maschen abheben und schon entstehen magische Pünktchen – für abwechslungsreiches Strickvergnügen.
