The home video look in five layers. Stack them over any clip and it reads as found footage from 2004.

What's inside

REC frame: corners, a blinking REC light and a battery icon (10 seconds, loops).

Running tape timecode (30 seconds).

Date stamp, PM 7:42 / OCT 14 2004 (10 seconds, plus a PNG).

VHS noise and a rolling tracking band (Screen blend, loops).

Scanlines and stills as PNG, and the camcorder font so you can type your own date.

Every layer in 1080x1920 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, and 1920x1080 for YouTube.

How to use it

Desktop: the MOV layers go straight on top. The noise and tracking MP4s go on top with the blend mode set to Screen.

CapCut: add the green screen MP4s as overlays and key out the green, then the noise as an overlay set to Screen.

For the full tape look, add a little blur and push saturation on your clip.
