Tatting Pattern - Janessa Butterfly Motif - Intermediate

Difficulty level: Intermediate

Instructions are for size 20 crochet / tatting thread. Once finished the size is approximately 1 3/4 inches. This pattern only needs 1 tatting shuttle (and a crochet hook if your shuttle does not have one) to make the finished piece. A thin needle is also required.

Techniques used: rings, chains, joining picots, decorative picots, CTM (Continuous Thread Method)

The file features written instructions in English and both left and right handed diagrams complete with numbers of double stitches required.

Once you've tatted this motif, you could then use it as a repeat pattern for a square doily or tat a few in a row for a bookmark. The possibilities are endless.
