Wedding Seating Chart Planner

Plan your wedding seating without the sticky notes. Type a table number next to each guest and this spreadsheet fills in every table, counts the seats and warns you the moment a table is over capacity. Then print matching table numbers, place cards and a Find Your Seat sign.

WHAT'S INSIDE THE SPREADSHEET (6 tabs)

• Start Here: a 5-minute setup guide built into the file

• Settings: names, wedding date, default seats per table, editable meal options, guest groups and table shapes

• Seating Dashboard: guests on list, attending, seated, still to seat, tables in use, days to go, empty seats, tables over capacity, children and dietary needs seated, a meal count for your caterer, plus a seats-per-table chart

• Guests: room for 400 guests with household, side, group, RSVP, meal, dietary needs, child and table number. Unseated guests are highlighted, and filter arrows let you sort by anything

• Tables: 30 tables with name, shape (round, long, head table, sweetheart), capacity, guests seated, children, dietary needs, seats left and an OVER CAPACITY warning

• Table Plan: every table listed with its guests and meal choices, filled in automatically and ready to print for your venue, coordinator or caterer
