Chemo Cap Pattern/Summer Knit Hat/easy hat pattern

“Ann’s hat” was initially designed as a lightweight chemo cap for a friend winning her battle! It now contains instructions for two sizes!!

Design~

~ tiny cable band allows nice stretch but goes back into shape when not wearing
~ cable design through body of hat, allows nice airflow, yet doesn’t expose your head, as an eyelet pattern does
~ ideal hat design for spring and summer, or year round really!
~ designed with a merino yarn and cotton merino blend but any DK yarn works!
~ easy to complete in a couple of evenings or even one evening!

Details~

~ easy pattern to learn and use
~ basic knit, purl, cast on/off, decrease
~ knit in-the round
~ 16” 4.0mm, 4.5mm needles, and 4.5mm double pointed
~ 125 yards of dk weight yarn
