Philips PUS7xx5 4K UHD TV picture settings - SDR (2020)

This product contains one document that will help you get a better SDR picture and understand picture controls on Philips PUS7xx5 series LED LCD TVs. Calibration was performed on the 55-inch 55PUS7805 TV, but tips apply to all variants and screen sizes.

The document covers:

1. SDR picture settings that can be used for watching movies in standard and high definition, DVDs, Blu-rays, etc. and
2. Tips on how to enable game mode to get the most responsive display which is critical for gaming
3. Tips for using this TV as a monitor

For general and gaming content, calibration was done for HDMI limited range YPrPb (component) signal, Rec.709 color space, gamma 2.2, white point target D65.

Disclaimer:

Settings are for reference only. There is no guarantee that they will give you the best picture which is in line with industry standards and suitable for your viewing environment (especially white balance, gamma, and color management system settings that vary from unit to unit). If you want a guaranteed calibrated picture, hire a professional TV calibrator (for example with ISF certificate, more info at http://www.imagingscience.com).
