Ten years ago I finished the Epic of Aravinda. Until now, it has never existed in audio as a complete trilogy.
Books two and three have never been recorded before, in any format, by anyone. This is the only place to hear them. Your collection also includes all three novels as ebooks, revised in 2026. This is the most complete edition of the trilogy that has ever existed.
What’s included
Three unabridged audiobooks (The Truth Beyond the Sky, The Island on the Edge of Forever, and The Mirage on the Brink of Oblivion) as .m4b files with full chapter markers, so your player remembers where you left off. Plus all three novels as ebooks, with exclusive concept art of the four main characters. No copy protection, yours to keep on any device.
🎧 The entire first chapter of this trilogy is free at the "Preview" link above (top left). Press play before you decide.
What reviewers say
"Crusoe takes world building to a new level here and the result is something to behold... If you enjoyed the first two, expect that trajectory to continue arcing upwards."
— Tom Minderle, author of Fringe Knowledge for Beginners
"I am reminded of the epic space operas such as E.E. 'Doc' Smith’s Lensman series... this has a breadth and scope that is similarly grand, and equally epic."
— Kevin G. Rhoads, MIT alumnus
"In today’s vast sea of self-publishing, discovering this much intelligence, original thought, and imagination is a rare treat."
— Flavia Westermann, reviewer
About this recording
Somehow, Vayuna got hold of these stories and is releasing them to the whole galaxy. She also goes by the name Vati, and if you know her, you know she has more than one reason to want them told.
But that’s her framing. Mine is plainer: these audiobooks were produced using carefully tuned open-source voice technology and edited chapter by chapter by me. Vayuna is the voice you’ll hear, and the preview link above is the fastest way to know if you’ll enjoy her for seventeen hours. I listen at 1.2x myself, sometimes faster. Her diction holds up at speed better than most. By the last pass, I stopped checking for errors and just listened.
A short welcome guide is included, with your ebook link and instructions for every device.
Ten years on, this is the version I always wanted this trilogy to be. Thank you for reading and listening.

Book Synopses
Book One: The Truth Beyond the Sky
Twelve years after his famous mother vanished, Zahn stumbles on an alien artifact that changes his life. When a figure in a shimmering uniform appears outside his window, he learns his discovery is tied to a galactic war against the Vakragha, an ancient species that devours entire stars. Their only weakness is the Tulari, a mythical stone lost for eons that can heal the wounds they cut into space.
Joined by Asha, a sharp-witted technician with secrets of her own, Zahn races to recover the stone before the Vakragha consume his world.
The audiobook is the Data Leak Edition, with short excerpts from Zahn’s journals between chapters. The ebook edition contains the standard text.
Book Two: The Island on the Edge of Forever
Asha accepts a mission to recover a stone that can raise the dead, and is pulled into a world of ghostly ruins, cave-dwelling vermin, and a mysterious island that burns with bonfires each night, only to vanish by morning.
Separated from Commander Mira, she must survive the island and reach the stone before the Vakragha resurrect their most dangerous leader. Meanwhile Zahn descends into a subterranean labyrinth that may hold the key to stopping them, but only if Asha succeeds.
Book Three: The Mirage on the Brink of Oblivion
What if you could hold a memory in the palm of your hand, or trade memories like souvenirs? In the Mirage, you can.
Centuries after the Vakragha attack, Mirage City floats above a forgotten planet, where most have lost touch with the physical world entirely. Except Jyana, who discovers something is destroying the coral reef beneath the city. Then a refugee from before the attack returns, and Asha’s secret mission threatens to bring the Mirage down entirely.
Drawing on the real-world binaural research of Bob Monroe, the finale is a mind-bending out-of-body adventure about love, memory, and the cost of innovation.
