Yarn: #5 Bulky (7 wpi) - 312 (624, 936) yds.
Yarn in sample: Lion Brand Scarfie (312 yards /285 meters per 150 grams /5.29 ounces; 78% Acrylic, 22% Wool) - 1 (2, 3) skeins.
This warm accessory is a very quick make using bulky weight yarn and a 7.0 mm hook (or any hook that lets you create the desired crochet fabric).
The instructions are written for 3 Adult sizes:
S (Cowl) – 38” long before sewing,
M – (Classic or Infinity Scarf: 2 loops around neck) 76” long before sewing,
L (Classic Long Scarf) – 114” long,
All sizes – 13.5” wide.
The scarf length and width are fully adjustable.
The scarf is reversible, it is made flat and then the ends are sewn for the cowl and infinity scarf options.
All special stitches (foundation double crochet, front post double crochet, beginning linked double crochet) are described in pattern.
