48 Nations Football World Cup Format Proposal

The football governing body, FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), is set to change the World Cup format for the 2026 or 2030 tournament. The expansion of 16 additional teams (from 32 teams in the finals tournament to 48 teams) has been met with a wide variety of views and sceptics. However, there is a lot of information known about this impending change and some information that isn’t known yet but, can be speculated and fantasy predicted, due to the history of the FIFA World Cup.
