Denmark during WW2 fell in a manner of just a mere 6 hours after Operation Weseruebung. The Danish Army or more formally called The Royal Danish Army was not modernized to meet against the German War Machine in their defense against the Germans. The Royal Danish Army stood 55,000 troops to fight against the German's 20,000 strong. Denmark surrendered due to threats and the sheer fire power of the German's Armed Forces, especially their Air Force. In fear of a possible bombing of Copenhagen lead the Danish Government to surrender on April 9, 1940, Six Hours later.
