Oscillating is a circular yoke sweater featuring a delicate, undulating pattern of eyelet lacework. The lacework can be worked throughout the garment, or only in the yoke, with the upper body and sleeves gently transitioning to stockinette. Either way, the finished result is a comfortable yet elegant sweater that makes a versatile addition to your wardrobe from Autumn through to Spring.

Both written instructions and charts are provided for knitting the lacework pattern.

CONSTRUCTION

This garment is worked top-down, in the round. Within the neckband, short row shaping is incorporated to optimise fit. The yoke features an eyelet lace pattern that continues into the body and sleeves. Once the yoke is completed, stitches are separated into body and sleeves, which are each worked separately and in the round. The knitter can choose whether to continue the eyelet lace pattern throughout the body and sleeves, or transition into stockinette.
