Journal Cover Printing Instructions
- Upload your notebook cover image into your preferred design software.
- My preferred software is Silhouette Studio, but you may use any software that allows you to size and print images accurately.
- After uploading the image, verify that it is sized correctly.
- The finished size should be 7 × 10 inches in portrait orientation.
- Center the image on the page before printing.
- Print the design on your preferred material, such as:
- Sticker paper (recommended for easy application)
- Cardstock
- Premium photo paper
- Any other paper of your choice
- Send the image to your inkjet printer and print using the highest print quality setting for the best results.
- Carefully trim away the excess paper around the edges.
Applying Your Cover
Front Cover
- Trim away the excess paper on the left side of the printed cover.
- Line the trimmed edge up against the black binding of your composition notebook.
- Use the black binding as your guide to center the image so it completely covers the front of the notebook.
Back Cover
- Trim away the excess paper on the right side of the printed cover.
- Line the trimmed edge up against the black binding of your composition notebook.
- Use the black binding as your guide to center the image so it completely covers the back of the notebook.
If you printed on sticker paper, peel and apply the cover carefully, smoothing from the center outward to remove any air bubbles. If you printed on card stock or photo paper, attach the cover using your preferred adhesive.
