Speech and Vocabulary guide (English)

As a parent of an autistic child, I know how deeply we want to understand what our children are trying to tell us. Sometimes a simple word, gesture, or expression can carry a whole world of meaning, yet finding the right way to communicate can feel difficult and overwhelming.

There have been moments when I wished I had something simple, visual, and easy to use to help my child express what they need, feel, want, or see.

That is why I created this guide.

It was made with love, patience, and the hope that it can make communication a little easier for children and the families who support them. Whether your child is learning their first words, using pictures, pointing, signing, or finding their own unique way to communicate, every attempt matters and every new word is a step forward.
