A panel of lace and bobbles is worked for the center of the shawl. Stitches are then picked up and knit along the right and left edges of this panel to work the wings of the shawl. The wings are worked out from the center panel and give the shawl its width. This shawl is a wonderful accessory to drape over your shoulders in warm weather. When it's cold, double wrap the shawl, and you'll be toasty and warm.
