Michael suspects the guy's crazy but has to admit he feels inexplicably less panicky when around him. Of course, seeing Quinn shift into a wolf helps speed up the acceptance process, and a lot of hot sex and a period of separation eventually bring Michael around to agreeing to accompany Quinn to the werewolf colony.

There, Michael finds there is more to the universe than he ever thought possible, including snake-shifters, a Roman palace guarded by Komodo dragons, and an obstetrician who looks like a giant slug--*shudder* he hates slugs.

The Wolves of Daos 5 is a sci-fantasy, paranormal, shifter romance with some kink and humor thrown in.
