See the new

Every generation longs for something fresh, something beyond what has been, something that breathes life into dry places. The prophet Isaiah spoke of it when he declared:

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” — Isaiah 43:19

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He never changes in His character, His holiness, or His love. But though He never changes, the ways He reveals Himself are new, living, and unfolding. The God of eternity is not stale, repetitive, or predictable. He is alive and active, inviting His people to perceive His movements in every generation and in every season of life.

This book is about learning to see the new thing the Lord is doing. It is about discovering the difference between the Logos Word of God—His eternal, unchanging truth—and the Rhema Word of God—His spoken, timely revelation. It is about understanding how both the Logos and the Rhema connect to the scroll God has written over your life.

More than that, this book is about vision. Not just hearing about what God is doing, not just feeling His presence or sensing His direction, but truly seeing. Jesus said that a son does what he sees his Father doing (John 5:19). The Scriptures do not say, “A son does what he hears” or “what he feels.” Sight is the mark of sonship.
