You don’t have to be green-fingered to produce this flower-bed that blooms all year round!
As you’ll notice very early on, the lace pattern produces some beautiful flowers!
Daisy, Daisy is a large rectangular shawl, which can be worn in a variety of ways; across your shoulders as a stole, folded as a triangular shawl, or worn as a warm scarf around your neck - the choice is yours!
The shawl is composed of a central lace section, surrounded by intervals of stocking stitch and lace, knit in contrasting colours. It is knit from the central section outwards.
Yarn = Lace weight 100g/600m in 2 colours
The shawl can be knit in heavier yarns than laceweight, however I would recommend sticking to the same weight for both the main and contrasting colours.
The shawl requires ca 1200 - 1500m of yarn in total.
Needles & Notions: 4mm /US6 -I suggest working in a needle size slightly larger than recommended for your yarn, in order to open up the lacework.
Crochet Hook and Scrap yarn for cast on
4 Stitch Markers
Gauge & Size: With the above yarn, 10cm X 10cm = 32rows X 25sts, gave a shawl size 150cm X 105cm.
Pattern: The pattern contains simple lace sections, which are shown in a clear colour-coded chart, stocking stitch sections, provisional cast on and picking up stitches.
The Downloaded pattern consists of 11 A4 pages with photos, charts and detailed instructions.
