Itu shawl knitting pattern

Itu is a triangular reversible shawl worked in two-color brioche. It is worked from one corner to the long edge on the opposite side. The i-cord edge is worked at the same time as the rest of the shawl. The size of the shawl is easy to adjust.

Size of the model shawl: S.

Finished size:
Small: 135 cm (53 in) wide, 45 cm (18 in) deep
Medium: 155 cm (61 in) wide, 58 cm (23 in) deep
Large: 173 cm (68 in) wide, 68 cm (27 in) deep

Yardage:
In the model shawl color A is green and color B is light pink/mint green.
Small:
389 m/425 yd or 100 g of color A.
350 m/383 yd or 90 g of color B.
Medium:
585 m/640 yd or 150 g of color A.
545 m/596 yd or 140 g of color B.
Large:
778 m/850 yd or 200 g of color A.
720 m/787 yd or 185 g of color B.

Gauge:
21 sts and 26 rows per 10 cm in two-color brioche unblocked, but gauge is not crucial. Row gauge is more important than stitch gauge.

Needle size:
3.25 mm/US 3, or the size you need to make gauge.
5 mm/US 8 for the bind-off.
