Secret of Life sweater

All that you need on cold winter or autumn days: comfort, warmth and many charming cables cheering you up! Secret of Life is a casual sweater, with a convenient shape fitting every body shape. When made from alpaca, it will warm and tuck you in, while being pleasantly light.

Secret of Life sweater is mostly seamless project, worked top-down. It is richly decorated with chubby cables. Despite it, Secret of Life is intuitive and easy to work, and cabling is very satisfying!

For your convenience, each size has its own file, with instructions only for the given size.

The pattern contains detailed instructions for making the sweater in 5 sizes and two language versions – Polish and English.

100.5 (108, 115.5, 123) 130 cm

39.5 (42.5, 45.5, 48.4) 51.2”

Suggested ease: 18-25 cm / 7-9.8”

Yarn:

Chmurka Alpacino DK or any other DK yarn, about: 1170 (1305, 1440, 1650) 1750 meters 1279 (1427, 1574, 1804) 1913 yards

Needles:

4 mm and 3.25 mm US 6 and US 3 circular needles

Others:

1 stitch marker

Cable needle

Tapestry needle

Scrap yarn or stitch holder

Gauge:

22 sts x 34 rows - 10 cm x 10 cm 4” x 4” on 4 mm US 6 needles in Stockinette st, after blocking.
