Digital Crochet Pattern - Roly Poly Mousie Toy

Crochet a roly-poly mouse to be used as a cat’s toy or even a baby toy. This mouse does not require any sewing - it is made all in one piece.

Tools and Materials:

• 4.50 mm 7 or 5.00 mm H-8 crochet hook – samples used 4.50 mm hook
• tapestry needle and scissors
• worsted or aran cotton or other yarn (other yarn weights can be used but will result in a different sized toy) – samples shown used Bernat Handicrafter - testers used between 11 and 25 grams of yarn, depending on yarn and yarn weight used
• fibre fill or other stuffing
• catnip or other dried herbs (optional)
• jingle ball toy/ball with bells (optional)
• large mouse sample is stuffed with polyfill, catnip and valerian, small sample is stuffed with a spherical jingle ball toy

Sizes available: Two sizes, large and small. Main body of large sample is approx. 7 cm in diameter, main body of small sample in approx. 5 cm in diameter (both crocheted in Bernat Handicrafter).

Yardage: 30 - 48 yards (27 - 44 m)
