Ornamentia™ No.1 Border, Ornament and Accent Clipart Collection

  To everything there is a beginning. Ornamentia™ No.1 started life as accents for display posters for the Fontry West™ font FHA Modified Tuscan Roman™. Since the font was inspired by the master signwriter Frank Atkinson, I felt it best that the display share that origin. That could have been the end of the story.

   Deadlines can be hell. The fateful day came when I was pressed for time working on a sign and needed a frame. I shaved some time by re-purposing elements from the font poster file and, it didn't end there.

Forms and pieces their found their way onto other signs and posters. After all, who has time to recreate the same thing over and over again?

   When I was preparing the Tuscan Roman font for Creative Market the thought occurred to me that these might be useful to other artists. So, I present to you Ornamentia™ No. 1.

There are several forms...

• Ornaments and accents, various

• Rules

• Bullets, after a fashion

• Corners, for frames and

• Arrows - well one set.

• One jpeg reference.

   All of objects are presented in a "welded" but there is also an unwelded version that can be picked apart for a wider variety of forms. Naming conventions are the first form is the first either without a letter or with the letter A. Letters after (B, C, etc.) label pieces or rotated forms (in the case of corners) with the "X" being the unwelded format of each form. Each form is provided formats (.eps, .cdr, .ai, .png).

FONTRY WEST™ owns the copyrights to the DIGITAL PRODUCT contained in the item ORNAMENTIA™ NO 1. The buyer/user/licensee, has the exclusive, unlimited rights and freedom to use the aforementioned DIGITAL PRODUCT royalty-free in any form of print, advertising, signage, web, logos, etc., as long as the DIGITAL PRODUCT remains static in nature. This is considered a Standard Licensing Agreement.

The Standard License will not cover such use as electronic media, games/apps, hardware and/or software distribution, interactive use, etc., unless otherwise specified by FONTRY WEST™. Such usage requires the purchase of a Universal License. Under a Universal Licensing Agreement, a DIGITAL PRODUCT can be used as described in the Standard Licensing Agreement with the addition of special licensing arrangements that include but are not limited to: distribution via games, apps, hardware and/or software, ebooks, electronic devices, etc. DIGITAL PRODUCT may also be used in interactive applications.

The buyer is also under no obligation to pay recompense or royalties to FONTRY WEST™ based on profits that might accrue from the use of the DIGITAL PRODUCT. FONTRY WEST™ is also not obligated to pay compensation for losses due the use of the DIGITAL PRODUCT. The buyer does not have the right to sell, redistribute, give away, remaster or copy the DIGITAL PRODUCT for any reason other than data backup or file transfer to a third-party service, such as a service bureau, screen printer, sign shop, etc., for use in the production of the licensee's products only. A multi-station, multi-user license may not be required if the DIGITAL PRODUCT is used by the buyer within the confines of the business or entity for whom the DIGITAL PRODUCT was originally purchased. This agreement does not expire.
