Six People Go In, How Many Will Come Out

Their drivers drove off. The three couples turned, looked up the driveway and were already scared. As soon as they started under the canopy of Cypress trees it got really dark. They could see the top window lit up through the trees as they walked up the driveway. They came up on a bend in the driveway, there was a low spot in the road full of water and kind of muddy, so they stopped to check it out. They could see the house through the opening, there was still a light on in the top window.

While standing there talking about it, they all heard a faint scream from the house, when they turned and looked, the light in the window went out. They all looked at each other, probably thinking, we might have fucked up, but nobody said it. They weren't here ghost hunting, they just wanted a place out of the weather to hang out for a couple days and be together.
