Sight Reading For The Contemporary Bassist

To my fellow Bass People,

The love of the bass and the joy of putting the bottom on the music is what unites us as artists. I have been fortunate to be a professional musician and educator for a long time, and I don’t take a second of it for granted. 

The ability to sight read at a high level has allowed me to play on records, film scores, orchestra stages, commercial jingles, musical theater productions and travel around the world.
