The EL P
In the heartbeat of Brooklyn, 1981 marked my entry into a world of concrete dreams. Growing up amid the rhythm of the streets, I found my voice in the cadence of hip-hop. Nine albums deep into my musical journey, each lyric penned echoes the struggles of a kid raised without privilege or paternal guidance.
Beyond the mic, the silver screen became my canvas. Three independent films captured my essence as a storyteller, both in front of and behind the lens. A videographer's eye and an actor's soul intertwined, adding layers to my artistic narrative.
My childhood was a canvas painted with the hues of poverty, and the absence of a father left shadows that shaped my resilience. Rejection, a familiar companion, fueled a fire within, propelling me to create a haven for those facing similar uphill battles. The mission: to elevate the voices of underprivileged artists and actors, offering a stage for dreams to take center stage.
In the pursuit of success, my autobiography unfolds—a tale of a Brooklyn-born artist who turned rejection into rhythm, poverty into poetry, and dreams into a stage where others find their spotlight.
