Broomstick Crone

When the crone guardian finds her place—on a shelf, snuggled between books, preening her polka-dots among pot plants, or moonbathing on a windowsill—she is ready to receive the household grievances. She assists in end-of-day release and return to hearth, sweeping away matters unworthy of attention with her bristling broom. The crone supports in not sweating the small stuff, boundaries ossified and fortified by the fire-spirit of the kiln.

Broomstick Crone has a tiny crack in her base, repaired but undisguised. We don't discard darklings with minor imperfections, but honour them with repair. For someone, that scar represents something important.
